Former Aura, Dorsia, Roam, and a bunch of other unmemorable one-word names finally converted to a legit destination. Two floors, with well-heeled crew upstairs, more eclectic crowd for the den below. Copper accents, wood paneling, black leather banquettes give off modern/glam retro vibes. Top DJ roster and a boldfaced name or two make it well worth your while to breach Ruben Rivera’s door. Blaise Johnson works the bar, mixes up a mean Nina cocktail (rum, Chambord, blood orange purée). Sparklers, too, should you need a little extra incentive to break out the big bills.
